Chilling photos have emerged of the isolated zone around Fukushima, and it looks like something you would see in a post apocalyptic film.
The zone is of course abandoned, after a huge nuclear explosion in three power plants was triggered by an earthquake.
The quake measured nine on the Richter scale, and was devastating for the area, causing a Tsunami.

160,000 people were forced to flee their homes after the explosion due to radiation concerns, with photographer Arkadiusz Podniesinski visiting the area and documenting the aftermath.

He spoke to the Daily Mail, and claimed:
My goal was to present the actual state of the exclusion zone.
Futaba, Namie and Tomioka are ghost towns whose emptiness is terrifying and show a tragedy that affected hundreds of thousands of people.
