Coming back to work after the Christmas break can be a bit depressing, so one company allowed their staff to decorate their desks. But they probably didn’t expect people to take it this far!

The managers at Viking-Direct, a stationary supplier, decided to ask all their teams to decorate their desks with fun and creative things to help beat the winter blues. However, they were blown away when their ‘creative team’ – not content with simply bringing in small decorations or cat posters – decided to built a giant castle right in the middle of the office.

The incredible fortress is made up of roughly 500 bricks and took seven hours to build. It even has its own custom flag because ‘every castle has to fly a flag!’

It’s a fortress that’ll stand for a thousand years… or until the next Christmas party.

Honestly we want one. Watch the build in its entirety here:

Our only question is, what do a creative team actually do at a stationary supplier?
