This is like something from an episode of Mr Bean.
The CCTV footage shows a 12-year-old kid in a Taiwanese art gallery on a guided tour.
As he starts to walk to follow the guide, he trips and stumbles, and does what anybody would do… Puts his hands out to stop his fall.
Unfortunately, however, he fell in front of a 350-year-old Paolo Porpora painting worth £1million… And puts his hand straight through the canvas.
Oops.
The painting is called ‘Flowers’, for pretty obvious reasons.
Luckily for both the lad and his parents, the gallery is not going to charge them for the damage, instead asking the insurance company to cover the cost of restoring it.
I feel sorry for the kid, it’s still pretty funny though. And to be fair to him, he didn’t spill a drop of his drink.
