Remember when you were a kid and wanted nothing more than to have a sweet, themed bedroom to piss off your siblings/ friends/ that prick over the road? Well prepare to be jealous of this one.
One dad decided to treat his daughter to a bedroom that looks like it’s been ripped straight out of a fairytale, complete with its own treehouse reading area. Reddit user radamshome uploaded some pictures of the wonderland that took him 18 months to create.
Aside from being a badass dad, radamshome is an artist in the video game industry. He had some carpentry skills before the project but took welding classes to make the magical tree.
He said:
My daughter wanted a fairy tree in her room that she could sit inside and read books, climb the branches, and also have a top sitting area. I was kind of un-prepared for the physical realities of this project. I used Disney set-design as my inspiration. Even though it was difficult, I learned a huge amount along the way. It turned out pretty well, and she’s so happy in her new room!
The rest of the room is decorated with fairy lights and a trippy, rainbow colour scheme that any little kid would revel in.
