Hailing from Vancouver, Canada the talented makeup artist is a master of manipulating visual perceptions and her latest project will blow your face-off… literally.

Taking inspiration from the pioneer of surrealism, Salvador Dali, Choi’s latest creation has the faces of her subjects completely taken out of the equation.

You’d be forgiven for thinking the stuff she’s posting on her Instagram is all Photoshopped – in fact: ‘haters will say it’s Photoshopped’.

But Choi assures her followes her work ‘is not Photoshopped’ and:

If you look closely, you will see my features disguised in the black and red paints

This isn’t the first time she’s used makeup to subvert the perception of reality, in previous posts she would repalce half her head with a kiwi, melt her face and elongate her own tongue.

Before you start worrying, no your brain is not on drugs, however you could say surrealist art does have a serious link to our trippy fore-fathers. Dali himself once said: “I don’t do drugs. I am drugs.”
