This guy took dedication to a whole new level.

Twitter user Marcus LePage waited seven years to deliver a joke, and the internet is going crazy for it.

In April 2009, LePage tweeted that he was going to sleep:

Then, with all good jokes, there was a bit of a wait between the delivery and the punchline.

And then there was a bit more waiting. And a bit more.

And seven years later, he tweeted this:

Both tweets have been retweeted 33,000 times, and Twitter can’t handle it.
