No, it’s not perfect DNA or boob jobs. The secret to the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s perfect cleavage is a lot simpler (and sneakier) than that.
According to a photo retoucher who works on the models, getting the perfect boobs starts on the set of photoshoots.
Going by the pseudonym ‘Sarah’, she revealed to Refinery 29 that the secret to the model’s gravity defying boobs are chicken cutlets and breast pads, the Huffington Post reports.
She said: “If you hold up the bathing suit in your own hand, it’s so heavy because they have all this shit sewed into it.”
Ever wondered how they get amazing boobs in strapless bras? When the straps aren’t there to pull everything up and out, the brand puts push-up bras underneath their bikini tops.
Sara explained: “They put a push-up bra under the bathing suit. And we retouch out the bra.”
Apparently this trick isn’t just used by Victoria’s Secret, Sarah refers to it as ‘routine practice’ and the reason ‘why we’re used to seeing anti-gravity breasts everywhere’.
What probably comes as the biggest shock though is that, despite popular belief, Sarah said the VS retouchers don’t actually Photoshop the models to look any slimmer.
Instead, ‘nipples are erased’ and breasts are made ’rounder’ and ‘larger’.
Want to really ruin your view of the perfect models? Sarah said many of the VS Angels turn up to shoots without having shaved – sporting bikini line and armpit stubble. That’s obviously edited out as well.
