Bullies are cowards. You’ve heard it before and you’ll hear it again for years to come. That’s because the world is never going to be rid of them. It’s just the way the world and more specifically, society is.
And with the growth of the internet in recent years, it has only gotten worse. Especially for content creators who put their identity and faces out there for everyone to see – and judge.
One of these people is 11-year-old Logan Fairbanks, who recently took to Youtube to read out some of the hateful comments that people have left on his dad’s videos about himself.
Logan’s dad is Josh, who regularly features his son on his channel. The description of the following video reads:
Logan asked me to do this. As his dad I was very hesitant but he insisted that if there was a chance it could help someone then why not face his online bullies and try. I hope one day I have as much courage as he does.
We have to tip our hats to Logan, who displays in this single video, more balls than any single one of his bullies possess.
To face those who mock you head on, for the world to see, is an incredibly brave thing to do and for him to do it in the hope that it helps someone in his position is one selfless act worth a standing ovation.
