A man in the U.S is offering a $10,000 (£6,500) reward if you can find him a long-term girlfriend.
29-year-old Ren Lu You, from Birmingham, Alabama, set up a website where people can submit their friends or family members to go on a date with him.
And, if the relationship lasts for six months, he says he will reward the referrer with the pretty sum for their trouble.
Ren got the idea to start the website after moving to Birmingham and going on a string of dates. He said he began thinking of ways to improve the “inefficient” dating process.
The website, dateren.com, has only been active for a week but Ren has already received a “deluge” of submissions and been on a fair few dates.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, Ren said:
(I’m just hoping) to find somebody really great and be their boyfriend. People are willing to pay a huge amount of money for a lot of things that are a lot less important.
And, to be fair, if the guy has ten grand he’s willing to part with, he’s probably a far more eligible bachelor than we are! Good luck to him.
