One ingenious YouTube user has decided to mashup two of the year’s biggest blockbusters into one awesome spectacle of a movie trailer.
Mad Max: Fury Road was one of the big successes of the summer, while Star Wars: The Force Awakens rolls into theatres in December and is bound to be a smash hit.
However, combining the two films results in an explosive, dusty spectacle for the ages.
Titled ‘Road Wars: The Imperator Strikes Back’, the trailer mashup is the work of Krishna Shenoi, and asks “What if the world of Mad Max: Fury Road was part of the Star Wars universe?”
Well, it turns out that it would feature TIE fighters taking out souped up cars in the desert and Darth Vader hanging out with Immortan Joe’s crew.
Oh, and there’s a lightsaber wielding Charlize Theron too, so what’s not to like?
