The iPhone 7 could be set to get a major upgrade.
According to leading analyst, Ming Chi-Kuo the new phone will feature dual-camera technology, which will allow the phones to take pictures with the quality of a full DSLR camera. So it will certainly help you up your Instagram game.
However, before you get to excited about this latest development, this feature may only be limited to the larger, 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus.
The usually reliable analyst Chi-Kuo of KGI Securities has a pretty awesome track record with Apple rumours, so we should be inclined to believe this prediction.
It’s believed this will be one of its headline features of the iPhone 7, which is rumoured to come in a body which is largely similar to the iPhone 6 and 6s.
Apple is set to introduce their new model in September and may be followed by a complete overhaul in design for the iPhone 8, according to the same analyst.
If this report is correct, it would be far from the first time that Apple has restricted better camera technology to its larger phone.
Both the iPhone 6 and 6s have almost identical camera features to their larger siblings, but lack some technologies that are thought to rely on the bigger iPhone’s extra space.
From what we’ve seen so far though you might want to hold off until 2017, to give the majorly overhauled iPhone 8 a go.
