And you thought your commute to work this morning was bad.
A drone has captured incredible footage of what could arguably be the biggest goddamn traffic jam in the world. It’s absolutely massive.
Millions of people had taken to the roads during a week of celebration in China. And thousands of them got caught up in this massive tailback as they tried to make their way homes after the country’s National Day celebration – a festival that marks the creation of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, The Independent reports.
The jam – which spanned the whole 50 lanes of the gigantic G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway – was caused by a new toll station that forced traffic into fewer lanes near Beijing.
The holidays have been in place since 1999, and workers are given three days paid leave.
