After months of hype, speculation, and wild fever dreams in which giant mech suits haunt me, EA have finally released a teaser trailer for Titanfall 2. It’s awesome.
As is the way of the teaser trailer, we don’t really have anything substantial to go off just yet. We see a drop pod, and a cheeky bit of ankle from what I assume is a Titan, all accompanied by a brief voiceover that discusses the risks of being a hero.
A full reveal is coming June 12, the date of EA’s pre-E3 briefing. Expect to see some actual gameplay then.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the trailer is the confirmation that Titanfall 2 is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The first Titanfall was only available for Xbox and PC, so this is pretty awesome news for PlayStation owners who didn’t get a crack at Titanfall first time around.
Check out the trailer below, and let the hype begin.
We don’t have a specific release date for Titanfall 2 just yet, but reports suggest that it’s coming by the end of March 2017. The new effort is even set to rock a single player mode – something the original was sorely missing.
