Movie legend and all round decent chap Tom Hanks has revealed the secret to his ‘untouchable’ 28-year marriage to actress Rita Wilson and it’s as heart-warming as you’d expect.
And his secret is there is no secret, he and his wife just married for the ‘right reasons’ in his words.
.@tomhanks I'm as in love with you today as I ever have been. More. #tbt pic.twitter.com/wT0N2nj77b

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said:
When we first looked at each other there was definitely a kind of a, ‘Hey, this is the place!’ I felt that anyway. I think the end result is that we got married for all the right reasons.
We just like each other. You start there.
Life is one thing after another and its actually more pleasant to be able to go home with someone you like to spend time with in order to get with it.

Hanks met his wife and fellow actor Rita Wilson back in 1985 on the set of the movie Volunteers and they’ve been together ever since marrying in 1988.
They have two sons, Chester and Truman along with two stepchildren, Colin and Elizabeth Hanks from Hanks’ previous marriage to Samantha Lewes.
Basically it seems that Hanks, just like we expected, is as lovely in real life as he is in the movies!
More of a concept than a journalist, Tom Percival was forged in the bowels of Salford University from which he emerged grasping a Masters in journalism.
Since then his rise has been described by himself as ‘meteoric’ rising to the esteemed rank of Social Editor at UNILAD as well as working at the BBC, Manchester Evening News, and ITV.
He credits his success to three core techniques, name repetition, personality mirroring, and never breaking off a handshake.
