Everyone’s favourite rugged British beauty, and actor, Tom Hardy, will be starring in the upcoming Star Wars film apparently.
Hitting screens later this year, The Last Jedi, is said to include an uncredited cameo performance from Hardy, according to John Boyega who will be playing Finn in the movie.
Speaking about the upcoming blockbuster on BBC Radio 4 earlier today, Boyega appeared to accidentally leak the news of Hardy’s appearance, reports NME.
Boyega was asked if any of the Royal Family would star in the film, after a rumour emerged that William and Harry had been spotted on set.
He responded by saying:
I think they took that scene out. I’ve had enough with those secrets. They came on set. They were there. I’m sick of hiding it. I think it was leaked, anyway. There were images.
Every time I get asked, I have to dodge it. I’m tired of dodging it. They were there. So was Tom Hardy.
And interestingly everybody simultaneously seemed to say, ‘fuck the Royal Family, Tom Hardy is there’?!
It certainly isn’t out of the realms of possibility if Hardy does star in a cameo role – as Daniel Craig and even Gary Barlow have made similar appearances in the past.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit UK screens on December 14.
