It’s no secret that since Chris Evans was unveiled as the new face of Top Gear a few months back they’ve had a few teething problems.
They had bust-ups with the show’s bosses, filming issues and vomming on set, and it seems it’s going to get a whole lot worse for the new Top Gear team before it gets any better.
The new presenting line-up has been slammed across social media, after Chris Evans revealed a new seven-strong line-up for the BBC Two motoring show. It’s fair to say viewers are pretty pissed off.
Racing driver Sabine Schmitz, YouTube star Chris Harris, F1 boss Eddie Jordan and journalist Rory Reid will join Evans when the programme returns in May.
This comes after former Friends star and self-confessed car fanatic Matt LeBlanc was announced as one of the new presenters last week.
However, it’s you guys on social media that made this announcement even better with these brilliant tweets.
Some weren’t very happy with the lack of women in the lineup, which only included Schmitz.
New top gear line up. 5 men, 1 woman. Good job men drive 84% cars in the uk….. Oh what? They don't??…

And they didn’t understand her top either.
i am happy about the little diversity though but i don't get why that shirt on sabine schmitz was necessary

TOP GEAR VIEWERS ARE EXPECTED TO BE SO BEWILDERED BY A "WOMAN" THAT SHE HAS TO WEAR A SHIRT EXPLAINING WHAT SHE IS. pic.twitter.com/lG2oZEZNTr

Are people saying someone forced Sabine Schmitz to wear that shirt for the Top Gear shot but they let Eddie Jordan wear those purple shoes?
— The No Show (@The_No_Show) February 11, 2016
There were plenty of people mocking the amount of people needed to present the show.
Will BBC double the chances of success with #TopGear by doubling the presenter line up?
— Ed Williams (@EdWilliamsUK) February 11, 2016
I'm not sure why Top Gear needs 8000 presenters.

Does anyone know somebody who isn't presenting Top Gear?
