Trump is on the way out of the White House – according to the man who wrote a book with him.

Tony Schwartz, who spent almost a year with the President a couple of decades ago in order to write The Art Of The Deal, says that Trump is in a state of ‘pure terror’.

During an interview with CNN‘s Anderson Cooper, he stated that Donald will have to find a way through the increasing number of scandals.

He said:

I surely believe that at some point over the next period of time he’s going to have to figure out a way to resign and the reason he’s going to do that as opposed to go through what could be an impeachment process, or a continuing humiliation, is that he wants to figure out a way — as he’s done all his career — to turn a loss into a victory.

And so he will declare victory when he leaves.

Schwartz said he had spent hundreds of hours with Trump during the time he spent as co-author for the biography.

He roots Trump’s behaviours in his relationship with his father, which Trump himself called ‘businesslike’.

Schwartz also recently wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post in which he makes some pretty bold claims about Trump’s neurological state.

He said:

The Trump I got to know had no deep ideological beliefs, nor any passionate feeling about anything but his immediate self-interest. He derives his sense of significance from conquests and accomplishments.

All of this speculation comes after the recent revelation that the President had revealed sensitive intelligence information to Russian officials.

The White House vehemently denied the allegations before Donald went behind their backs and tweeted that he had the ‘absolute right’ to do what he did.

According to The Washington Post, such a leak puts many intelligence officers overseas at risk of identification. Doesn’t really seem like something he should be tweeting about does it?

Trump also recently fired FBI Director James Comey who had previously headed investigations into allegations of Trump’s involvement with Russia during his election campaign.

Schwartz theorised that this was because Trump’s delicate brain couldn’t handle the lack of respect coming from Comey, and so he fired him.

Perhaps even more worryingly is Schwartz’s prophecy that Donald may turn his volatility towards his own children, with Ivanka Trump at most risk of falling into his cross-hairs.

I’m not sure whether this guy is an authority on neurology but he does have a better insight into The Orange One than most.

I guess only time will tell whether his predictions prove true, bigly or not.
