It’s been nearly twenty years since legendary rapper Tupac Shakur was brutally gunned down in Las Vegas, but the man’s legacy lives on.

Now fans are being given the opportunity to own part of that legacy with his prized fully loaded 1996 Hummer, which he bought only a month before his death, going up for auction, TMZ reports.

The car is expected to fetch more than $100,000 (£67,000) at auction, which may seem like a lot, but it’s got some pretty nifty features.

Before his untimely death, Tupac added driving lights, a sound system and external PA, plus – what all road vehicles need – diamond-plate bumpers.

Even better, since being bought back in the nineties, the car hasn’t been used much having driven just 10,101 miles and it has an impressive 6.5-litre turbo-diesel V8 engine with automatic transmission.

Plus, you know, it’s Tupac’s car.

The seller claims that after Shakur died the car was held in storage until it was eventually won in a 2003 raffle.

It was then purchased in 2007 by Yaasmyn Fula, the mother of the Kadafi, a ‘godbrother’ of Shakur who died just two months after Tupac.

They go on to explain:

Already a classic and coveted example of civilian off-road ingenuity, this modified vehicle is further elevated by its incredible musical affiliation and proximity to Shakur’s final days. An incredible piece of hip-hop history that evokes the invincible spirit of one of the rap game’s true lyrical giants.

If you fancy owning a piece of rap history and have the money to actually bid, the auction starts on the 12 May at RR Auction.com.
