Two 16-Year-Old Girls Arrested For Making ‘Credible Threat’ To High School

A pair of 16 year old girls who have been arrested after making a ‘credible threat’ endangering other students.

The two girls who attend Mountain Vista High School in Douglas County, are facing pending charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

According to KDVR Douglas County sheriff, Tony Spurlock, said that the girls ‘had taken actions to complete that threat’ although they did not explain what that threat was.

Sheriff Spurlock said:

“We take these types of threats extremely seriously… and will take all efforts necessary to ensure the safety of our schools, students, and teachers.”

The sheriff’s office released the following video addressing the incident but the investigation into the threat is still ongoing.

The sheriff’s office said that they “believe the situation has been contained and the threat disrupted.”
