Ubisoft Outline Post Launch Content For The Division

By :

The Division isn’t even firmly lodged into our consoles yet, but that hasn’t stopped Ubisoft from looking to the future of the online open world shooter. They’ve promised to keep fans engaged with content that will continue long after release.

The first of the two free updates comes in April, and brings the first Incursion. Ubisoft describe these as challenging new end-game activities developed “specifically for squad play”. You’ll be able to test your skills and pick up some high-level gear.

The April update also brings loot trading to the game; allowing players in the same group to trade whatever they’ve managed to pillage during a co-op sesh.

In May, the second free update will add new features to the Dark Zone and add a new incursion in the iconic Columbus Circle.

Meanwhile, anyone who forked out for a Season Pass, the Gold Edition, or the Sleeper Agent/Collector’s edition of The Division can look forward to the following paid content.

The first of these expansions is coming in June. It’s called Underground, and players will get to explore an endless maze of subway tunnels under the streets of New York.

Survival is up next, and is currently scheduled for “Summer”. The challenge is simply to survive for as long as possible while gathering supplies in a hostile environment. The third and final expansion is called Last Stand. It’s coming next Winter, and we don’t know too much about it just yet.

However, Ubisoft did briefly tease the Last Stand:

Next winter, a new threat rises as players and their squad must prepare to defend against a relentless foe.
