A few weeks ago an Uma Thurman interview about the Harvey Weinstein scandal went viral.

The Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction star is a regular in Quentin Tarantino films, all of which have been distributed by either Miramax Films or The Weinstein Company, both founded by Harvey Weinstein.

The two often worked together, so it was only natural Thurman was asked for her thoughts about the recent flood of allegations made against the Hollywood producer.

Questioned by Access Hollywood, it was clear that Thurman was raging inside despite her cool appearance.

She said:

I don’t have a tidy soundbite for you because I’ve learned that I’m not a child. I’ve learned that when I’ve spoken in anger, I usually regret the way that I express myself.

So, I’ve been waiting to feel less angry and when I’m ready I’ll say what I’ve got to say.

Yesterday, on Thanksgiving, Thurman broke her silence on Instagram.

Sharing a photo of herself as The Bride in Kill Bill, she wrote:

I am grateful today, to be alive, for all those I love, and for all those who have the courage to stand up for others.

I said I was angry recently, and I have a few reasons, #metoo, in case you couldn’t tell by the look on my face.

I feel it’s important to take your time, be fair, be exact, so… Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! (Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators – I’m glad it’s going slowly – you don’t deserve a bullet).

Stay tuned.

A powerful post that sounds like a speech from a revenge film, Thurman’s last words of ‘stay tuned’ suggests that she plans to reveal more soon.

She also uses the hashtag #MeToo, which was trending last month as thousands of both women and men shared their stories of sexual harassment and assault.

Many celebrities also used the hashtag including Evan Rachel Wood, Lady Gaga, Anna Paquin and Debra Messing.

Since the interview with Thurman went viral, many Reddit users have shared a photo of the popular actress with Weinstein at the 2004 world premiere of Kill Bill: Vol. 2.

In the photo, Weinstein is holding both of Thurman’s hands with many believing that the actress clearly looks uncomfortable, desperate to pull away from the producer’s tight grip.

Some are commenting on the way Weinstein is holding Thurman which does look strange. Why is he gripping onto both of her wrists?

Coming Soon: Uma Thurman speaks out against Weinstein sexual harassment.

While belchingbob commented:

It is so clear that she has boiling anger and hatred for the man, yet, she kicks back her anger and tears, and does her best to calm herself to not to let go of her true feelings.

I am sure she would be screaming with anger if she wasn’t able to calm herself like that. And, it takes great will power to stay calm and eloquent in such an emotional state.

Thurman really is the definition of powerful and strong.
