Naughty Dog have revealed the new story mode trailer for The Nathan Drake Collection ahead of its official release in October, and it’s obviously spoiler heavy if you’re new to the franchise.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection contains remastered versions of Uncharted 1-3 for modern consoles, as well as early access to the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta. Fans of the series will already know the Uncharted story, but this trailer has footage showing how the relationships between Drake, Sully and Elena – among others – were formed.
Naughty Dog have also given some other juicy pieces of detail about the games’ difficulty modes. ‘Explorer Mode’ will tone down the difficulty for those that want to just take in the story and scenery, ‘Speed Run Mode’ is – unsuprisngly – where you must complete each level as quickly as possible, and ‘Brutal Mode’, which can be unlocked after beating the game’s ‘Crushing Difficulty Mode’.
The game will also include more than 65 character skins to use in any of the three campaigns, and an all new ‘Photo Mode’ to take screenshots and share them online.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be out exclusively on PlayStation 4 and has been developed by Bluepoint Games, who bought the shooter Titanfall to Xbox 360.
