InstagramLast week, Usain Bolt was making headlines with a historic ‘triple-triple’ at the Olympic games. This week, it’s his antics away from the track that has people fascinated.
Basically, the Jamaican sprinter is being widely accused of playing away while in Brazil, with the rumours intensified by pictures that went viral of Bolt with Jady Duarte – the ex-wife of a favela drug lord, and a ‘mystery brunette’ in a Rio club.
The woman everyone was waiting to hear from was Bolt’s girlfriend – or ‘first lady’ as he apparently calls her – Kasi Bennett. And although she isn’t making an official statement, her social media activity sums up her opinion quite neatly.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Kasi has been liking multiple posts online that suggest the sprinter has dropped his standards.

Meanwhile, Bolt’s sister has come out in her brother’s defence… sort of.
She told the Daily Mail:
I’m sure Kasi will be used to it by now. She is used to seeing pictures like this.
People ask for pictures with him and he is always willing to have pictures. She is used to him being in the public domain.
I don’t think anything happened between him and the Brazilian girl. He loves Kasi too much to jeopardise the relationship. I’m looking at the pictures and it doesn’t look like he was doing anything with her.
Usain doesn’t believe in cheating. Normally when we speak he says he is against stuff like that. He has never done this before as far as I know.
As sure as I am that people do ask for selfies with Usain in what appears to be a bedroom setting, with his top off – there may be an understandable doubt in the back of Kasi’s mind.
But her Instagram still features an unequivocal message to ‘respect the legend’…
