Christmas is just around the corner so you know what that means – it’s time to get the Baileys in!
Unfortunately the one per cent of the British population who are vegan can’t enjoy this delicious creamy treat, or at least they couldn’t until now…
Baileys are releasing a fully-vegan, almond milk-based version of their drink, which will hit shop shelves next week – the provocatively named, Baileys Almande.
The drink’s made with almond milk, almond essence, cane sugar, purified water, real vanilla and contains no animal products, making it perfect for vegans.
On their Facebook page, Baileys claim there’ll be a national launch later in the year which seems to hint the drink will be available around the UK in time for Christmas.
Last year Baileys released a dairy free version of the popular cream-based liqueur, but because it contained beeswax and honey it was unsuitable for vegans.
What a lovey vegan treat!
