Just off the back of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini calling out the people who dubbed her too skinny, another woman in the public eye has followed suit.
This time, it’s Victoria’s Secret model, Bridget Malcolm, who has called out her ‘skinny shamers’ on social media platform Instagram.
The Australian, 25,said she had every right to look how she did, and that not only did she work hard for her body – which she said was healthy, but that she thought skinny shaming needed to stop.
Her comments came after some of her followers pointed out how slender she looked, and that she was a ‘terrible role model for young girls’.
She wrote back that she was ‘fit and healthy’ and made it clear she felt the ones doing the skinny shaming were the people with issues.
