The issue of Hillary Clinton’s health has moved front and centre after she collapsed yesterday as she was led away from a September 11 memorial service.
Footage has emerged of the U.S. presidential nominee collapsing as she was leaving the 9/11 ceremony in New York City, and while Clinton’s reps have confirmed she was ‘overheated’ and was diagnosed with pneumonia, people are worried it could be much more serious.
A statement from her campaign read:
Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen.
During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better.

Clinton, 68, was due to fly to Los Angeles and San Francisco on Monday, but a representative for her campaign said she had cancelled the two-day trip that was to include a key speech on the economy and fundraising events, the Independent reports.
The drama comes as Clinton’s lead over rival Donald Trump had been slipping. Her campaign has also been fighting allegations from Trump and his supporters that she is concealing her health from the public and is seriously unwell.
American entrepreneur and pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli has suggested Clinton could be suffering from early onset Parkinson’s disease.

However, it seems most people are condemning the suggestion that Clinton is lying about her health:

Trump, who also attended the same event as Clinton, was silent about the incident. His only comment at the 15th anniversary of the attacks was a statement calling on people to pray for those lost in the Al-Qaeda attack.
Asked by a reporter about the incident, Trump said: “I don’t know anything.”
Whether or not Clinton’s health is more serious than a case of pneumonia remains to be seen. Either way, we wish her a speedy recovery.
