Quick thinking Bian Pengfei spotted the distressed woman while driving over a bridge across the Yangtze River on his usual route in Nanjing, China, on Sunday.
As soon as he saw the scene, this absolute hero immediately stopped the bus and leapt out of his seat and grabbed the woman to stop her from committing suicide.
With the help of a couple of passengers, he helped the emotional woman out of danger and onto the bus.
She was then transported to a local police station where she could be given further support.
