The meaty delight could now potentially be the cause of your drinking woes because a sausage manufacturer has decided – for some unknown reason – to make a vodka Red Bull sausage.
Yes, you read that right, vodka Red Bull sausages.
Maguire Meats have decided to spice up their banger offering by adding the odd tipple like the vodka Red Bull or Rum and Coke flavours, according to The Irish Mirror.
Staff at the newsroom said:
We all know the food and drink scene is evolving at the speed of light – but this has left us scratching our heads.
From gin and tonic flavour ice cream, to beer flavoured crisps, there’s always something new and funky popping up.
It’s one thing adding beer, cider, Guinness or wine to sausages, but there is definitely no call for a vodka Red Bull inside a fry up or sausage butty.
Maybe I’m being too much of a sausage traditionalist, but I think I’ll stick to a good ol’ Cumberland.
