Watch the moment a massive 9ft cosplay Iron Man swaggers down a corridor, stopping to chat up two lucky ladies on the way.
The footage is from New York Comic Con last weekend, and shows the huge metal man strutting his stuff down a packed hallway.
The HulkBuster costume comes in at 6ft 6ins wide, is 44 inches thick, and takes the creator Thomas DePetrillo 20 minutes to get into. Overall it took 1,600 hours over a period of two years to create, The Mirror reports.
DePetrillo explains the project in a YouTube video:
The project of the hour is a Hulkbuster suit, which is a particular suit of armor that Iron Man wears in the “Avengers 2: Age of Ultron… This is the single largest, most domineering thing I’ve ever done in my life.
He continues:
I do this because I love it. For brief windows of time you get to be the star of the show, and when I go to a place like New York Comic Con, fro a brief window, for just a few days, I get to be a star, too.
Just a taste of the insanity of NYCC. The HulkBuster and Beat Down Boogie made a splash ! With Quin Mae Dolly Fallon Raul Gonzalez Pat Covey and Thomas DePetrillo
