Footage shows the disgusting moment a man bit into a wriggling squid in Japan.
The ‘zombie-squid’ appears to be dead, until the man pours soy sauce onto it, causing it to start moving again.
He then picks it up with chopsticks and takes a bite.
The Mirror reported the caption on the original video claims the squid appeared to come back to life “because its muscles absorbed the sodium from the soy sauce, causing them to spasm.”
Hopefully it’s actually dead, because eating it alive is just fucking harsh.
