Weather Reporter Loses It In Fit Of Giggles During Live Broadcast

Bad weather is no laughing matter – just ask BBC weather presenter Louise Lear.

Despite her best efforts to play it cool, Lear suffered something we all get once in a while – an incurable case of the giggles.

You know what I’m talking about – the kind where you start laughing at something and then forget what you were laughing at in the first place, but just keep laughing anyway and can’t stop. They usually come at the most inappropriate times – like when you’re trying to present the weather – but they’re absolutely hilarious to watch.

Luckily, it was all caught on camera in the middle of a live broadcast for us to enjoy forever.

Lear’s colleague Simon McCoy tried his best to restore order to proceedings, but it took Louise another good 30 seconds of giggles to regain her composure.

She said: “I’ll try and keep it together because it’s not a laughing matter with the weather in Scotland today.”

But Lear only really managed to keep it together for one second before laughing again. And don’t get her started on the gale force gusts into Wales – apparently they’re hilarious.

Obviously, everyone loved it:

Can’t say I watch the weather forecasts on TV often, but if they were more like this, I’d definitely tune in all the time.
