Escambia County Sheriff's Office/Facebook/Daddy Long Neck/YouTubeCharles Dion McDowell, better known as ‘Wide Neck Guy’, is back in jail after a judge revoked his bond, according to reports.
McDowell’s mugshot went viral last year thanks to his hefty neck.
He was originally arrested in Florida for several drug offences, including possession of both meth and cocaine, with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver.
McDowell isn’t facing any new charges, but was rearrested in Pensacola on Tuesday, January 29, when his bond was revoked by a judge.
Sharing the news on Instagram, an account called Damn Wide Neck, which has 1.3 million followers, wrote:
Tonight, Charles AKA Wideneck was arrested in his hometown of Pensacola. He didn’t get arrested on any new charges, the judge revoked his bond from his original charges. Now he has to sit in jail until his case is over with.
He appreciates all the love and support from everyone in the past 2 months. Charles’ life has changed for the better for himself and his family. When all this is over with this last case, you have his word that’ll he’ll never go back to jail again!
They also shared his latest mugshot which – you guessed it – displays his mighty fine neck.

McDowell made headlines last year after he was arrested, though his notoriety was less to do with his crimes but largely thanks to his prominent body part.
Escambia County Sheriff’s Office shared his first mugshot on their Facebook page, writing:

McDowell is currently a guest at the GoldStar Hotel with a bond of $57,000. #Gotcha
