This popular idiom has once again been proven true, this time in Wales, where a scorned wife ran over her PE teacher husband after she found out he’d been cheating on her with one of his former pupils.
Maria Addis was heard to scream ‘she’s only 18’ as she got in the car, before mowing down her husband, Mark.

Earlier in the day she’d lost her temper when her husband wouldn’t let her check out his phone, believing there to be all kinds of incriminating messages on there.
And it looks like she would have been right. Mr Addis is now in a relationship with the girl, and they are understood to have been together for more than a year.
