This video is concrete evidence of that.

In it, a woman from Huyang City in China is unfortunate enough to drop a huge stack of bank notes worth 3,700RMB (or about 380 pound sterling), which quickly blows away.

Strangers from the street swiftly move in on the notes, but instead of grabbing them for themselves they collect them up and give them back to the grateful woman.

When she counted up the notes afterwards they were all there.
