Professional shit head and Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, told NBC last week that he “would certainly implement” a database system that would track Muslims in the United States.
Many were outraged at Mr Trump’s ridiculous comments, but one young American Muslim responded perfectly.
In a Facebook post, Marwa Balkar surprisingly welcomed the Republican candidate’s proposal and posted a picture of herself wearing her ID badge, it was a peace sign. By doing so, Balkar hoped to send a message to Trump.
Her message began:
Dear @realdonaldtrump, My name is Marwa, and I am a Muslim. I heard you wanted us to start wearing ID badges, so I decided to choose one for myself. I am not easily identifiable as a #Muslim just by looking at me, so my new badge will let me display proudly who I am. I chose the peace sign because it represents my #Islam. The one that taught me to oppose #injustice and yearn for #unity. The one that taught me that killing one innocent life is equivalent to killing humanity.
Since the attacks in Paris, Trump’s taken advantage of the growing distrust of Islam in the U.S. to promote his own presidential campaign, making a number of absurd claims against Muslims .
We better get tough with RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISTS, and get tough now, or the life and safety of our wonderful country will be in jeopardy!

Marwa responded to Trump:
I heard you want to track us as well. Great! You can come with me on my Cancer Awareness walks at the local middle school, or you can follow me to work where it’s my job to create happiness. You can also see how my local mosque makes PB&J sandwiches for the homeless and hosts interfaith dinners where everyone is welcome. Maybe then you’ll see that me being Muslim doesn’t make me any less American than you are. Maybe if you walk in my footsteps, you can see that I am not any less human than you are.
Marwa finished her post, poignantly, with “Salaamu alaikum” which means “peace be with you”. In the four days since Marwa put up her post she’s had over 500,000 likes, including one from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Other American’s have taken Marwa’s lead and begun sending Trump their “ID cards” with the hashtag #MuslimID.

Trump however claims that he didn’t suggest the database. However he does seem to like the idea.
I didn’t suggest a database-a reporter did. We must defeat Islamic terrorism & have surveillance, including a watch list, to protect America

More of a concept than a journalist, Tom Percival was forged in the bowels of Salford University from which he emerged grasping a Masters in journalism.
Since then his rise has been described by himself as ‘meteoric’ rising to the esteemed rank of Social Editor at UNILAD as well as working at the BBC, Manchester Evening News, and ITV.
He credits his success to three core techniques, name repetition, personality mirroring, and never breaking off a handshake.
