Drugs are not cool, in fact they can get you in a lot of trouble, so just say no.
Okay with the responsible PSA out of the way, what would you do if you happened to be caught in the possession of illegal narcotics/contraband?
If you follow The Code Of The Streets (word to Gang Starr) you should know snitching is not an option because as the adage saying goes ‘snitches get stitches’. It’s not an ethos I advocate but if you’re really ‘about that life’ maybe it’s a mantra you’ve considered.
When it comes to the long arm of the law your ability to think quick when caught in a situation you damn well know you shouldn’t be in can be the difference between freedom and a stint (or possibly life) behind bars.
Which is why Kennecia Posey probably needs to go back to crime school 101 after giving one of the worst excuses for possession of cocaine.
As reported by Local 10 ABC, the 26-year-old from Florida was found with a bag of marijuana and a small bag of cocaine after a stop search by police in Fort Pierce was initiated after they got a whiff of that ‘sticky icky’ coming from her vehicle on March 21.
After their search found the illegal substances Posey admitted to possession of the bag of weed but denied owning the cocaine. When questioned further by police she said the bag ‘must have flown through the window’.
According to a police report, Posey told officers:
I don’t know anything about any cocaine. It’s a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse.
It’s a valid excuse I guess(?). A highly unlikely one though, do you know how accurate this so-called gust of wind needs to be to blow a bag of cocaine off the ground, through her car window and land straight in her bag? That sequence of events needs to be very intricate.
While I won’t question her alibi, I will at least give her 10 points for creativity because no one in their right mind could come up with this kind of elaborate excuse – nor do we think anyone would buy it.
It’s probably the least believable excuse since I told my form tutor I would be late for registration because the police had blocked off my road due to a police drug raid happening at my next door neighbours – funny thing is he bought it.
But it looks like the police at Fort Pierce, weren’t ready to buy Posey’s far-fetched tale. Instead they booked her in at a country jail on one felony count of possession of cocaine and a misdemeanour count for possession of marijuana. She was later released on bond.
