Forget your tattoos, man-flu and piercings, childbirth will always be regarded as one of the most painful things a human can experience.
Although incredible, programmes like One Born Every Minute show exactly how tough some women can find labor.
Those that do go into hospital to give birth, normally take a loved one in with them – someone who can provide support and empathy.
That wasn’t the case though for mischievous aunt Kat Armendariz, who’s selfie – with her sister in the background – has gone viral.
Kat snapped the shot in hospital as her poor sister lay in agony – about to give birth!
Kat, who is a mother to five children herself, has an expression that says it all – or rather, ‘thank god it’s not me!’

The photo, captioned ‘Selfie!!! While my sister is getting ready to shove a baby out her vag’ did come in for some criticism from those who have deemed it inappropriate and uncaring of Kate, but she revealed her sister Kimberly actually found it funny!
Speaking to Mashable, Kat said:
She wasn’t in too much pain at first, so she thought it was pretty funny.
I told her I was going to do it, she just started the oxytocin and the labor pains began almost instantly.
She started to feel it and right when she was like, ‘Oh my god I can’t take this,’ I took the photo.
To be fair – if you’ve got a sibling, you probably completely understand!
Sisters eh!
