@SouthernRailUK/TwitterOne young boy has become an unexpected social media sensation after taking over Southern Rail’s Twitter feed while on work experience.
Eddie has been answering the public’s questions under the hashtag #AskEddie – and people everywhere are absolutely loving it, with one person referring to him as the ‘new magic 8-ball’.
Now most people associate the train company’s feed with annoying ‘your train is delayed’ announcements but this has scored them some serious Brownie points.
Hi, Eddie here! Here on Work Experience and ready to answer your questions! ?

Eddie, who’s 15, has even made it onto Radio 1 with Scott Mills and Chris Stark this afternoon.
As you can imagine, with Twitter, none of the questions were relevant to train travel, or in fact the company – but there were plenty of great questions – with subjects including Love Island, football, and people were asking him what they should have for dinner…
Fish Fingers, always. ^Eddie
