World’s Strongest Man athlete Eddie Hall has set a new deadlift world record, successfully lifting a whopping 463kg (1,020lb or over 73 stone).

In doing so, ‘The Beast’ beat his own world record of 462kg, which he set in March as he was cheered on by none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Stoke-on-Trent’s Hall has made a name for himself as one the most powerful and explosive lifters on the Strongman circuit, where he is the reigning Britain’s Strongest Man champion. He also finished sixth overall in last year’s World’s Strongest Man final.

His lift yesterday is his most impressive accomplishment yet and it’s pretty awe inspiring to watch, especially as the weight is so heavy it looks like the bar can barely hold it.

No wonder Eddie looks so proud of himself when he pulls off this incredible feat!
