Dwayne Johnson, or as he is perhaps better known, The Rock, is probably just as well known for being an inspirational nice guy as he is for his blockbuster films – he’s like the walking definition of a gentle giant.
Of course, it does not take a genius to figure that we all have our own varied opinions of the former Scorpion King, but it’s pretty damn hard not to feel some sort of liking for him after hearing of how he has helped so many people in times of need.
Posting on Instagram yesterday to his myriad of disciples, The Rock told a story of how a member of the security team, working on the set of Ballers, wanted to tell him a little story, as reported by Uproxx.
Last week on our last day of shooting #ballers, my security came over and said “There’s a few officers who’ve worked for us all day and would love the chance to meet you. One of them has a personal story to tell you.” I said I’d love to meet them and walked over to say hello.
He said, “You won’t remember this but we walked into the hospital at the same time and you turned around, smiled and held the door open for my dad… and you have no idea what that moment meant to him. And me.”
I’m always asked “What’s the best part of fame?” Hands down, it’s moments like this.

And with a guy the size of The Rock, would you argue against him?
