If you originally downloaded Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro’s ill-fated horror title P.T. but accidentally deleted it, then good news, you can re-download it with this trick.

A member of the gaming forum Gamexeon discovered a nifty way to get the title back onto systems that have already played host to it’s horrifying charms.

If you’re willing to accept the risks, then the method is actually quite easy. You have to download a PC program called Squid, which will allow you to access your game library via a proxy server. From here, you’ll find all the games that you’ve owned and deleted – including P.T. – and will be able to re-download them to your console.

Obviously, the work-around is only for those who downloaded the game when it was available, and can’t be used to get it otherwise.

If you’re going to give this a crack, do it at your own peril because there’s a chance it could brick your console, and might lead to a ban from the PlayStation Network. Nobody who’s tried it in the forum has reported any such problems however, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re going to start mucking about.
