Instagram/Celester Barber This is Celeste Barber, an Australian comedian who has been sending up celebrities on Instagram.
She recreates photos from a range of social media-obsessed famous types – the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner get a regular lampooning from her, for example.
Using the hashtag #celestechallengeaccepted she is on a one woman mission to highlight the unnatural nature of these people’s supposedly ‘natural’ selfies.
She told ABC:
People are so obsessed with celebrities and celebrities seem to be so obsessed with portraying everyday people.
I thought, right, if this is what everyone does — challenge accepted.
