Good news guys! At last – a story in recent times which doesn’t focus on the possible start of world war or the Kardashians – but rather the fact your penis is getting bigger.
Well, kind off.
New research has emerged, by condom brand SKYN, which suggests men’s penises are getting bigger – but the all important question I hear you ask, is just how big? It’s coming, wait for it.

In 2016, the condom company teamed up with King’s College London for a study, with researchers measuring the penises of 15,521 men.
It found the average penis size in the UK to be 5.16 inches when erect, yet this year’s results found a very different outcome.
Okay guys – this is surely great news – although as a millennial you might never get to own your own house – you can now take solace in the the fact you’ve probably been blessed in other ways.

So, the answer you’ve all been waiting for – just how much have they said to have grown by?
Well according to the study, as reported by the Mirror – an inch! One whole inch!
Okay, so it might not be a mammoth amount, but still, surely every little helps? Not that size is the be-all and end-all.

However, maybe it’s the cynic in me, but I can’t help but think how this research might be flawed.
No offence guys, it’s nothing personal, rather to do with the fact how the research was conducted.
SKYN made an online form, which a total of just 3,037 sexually active men filled out.
I’m no Columbo, but it doesn’t take a whole lot of thought to figure out the men surveyed probably exaggerated, ever so slightly, therefore explaining the significant jump in size!
Fair play if you were one of the guys who took part – you could’ve exaggerated a hell of a lot more – a few more inches at least anyway!

Regardless of whether this research is accurate or not, never feel bad about the size of your penis.
Even if you took part and lied – then you’re not alone.
You may remember Roberto Esquivel Cabera – the man who supposedly had the world’s biggest penis.

While Roberto claims his penis measures at 18.9 inches Radiologist, Dr Jesus Pablo Gil Muro says it is in fact only ’16cm to 18cm from the pubis’.
Speaking to the Metro, Dr Muro said:
What the CT scan showed was that there is a very large foreskin. It goes just before the knee.
But the penis itself is about 16cm to 18cm from the pubis, so it doesn’t go all the way through the foreskin.
The rest of the tissue found there is just foreskin, blood vessels, and some inflammation of the skin. He was obsessed with the penis length.

Long before Roberto’s faux-penis size was rumbled by his doctor, Jonah Falcon – the man with the world’s ‘second’ largest penis – was casting doubt over the record-breaking size.
He claimed the fact Cabera uses weights to stretch his manhood means his size is not legitimate.
In an interview with The Sun, the 47-year-old New Yorker said:
His penis isn’t 19 inches – doctors have acknowledged this and said he could have a normal sex life if he’s essentially circumcised.
It’s been going around for the past two-and-a-half years – the man stretched his foreskin constantly, from what I understand, but it’s normal underneath.
I think it’s ridiculous and he seems kind of desperate. No matter how big he is, it’s not going to change the fact that I’m 13.5inches.

John doesn’t sound bitter at all!
Regardless of how big your penis is, or isn’t – just be happy with with what you have!
