A huge ghost detecting machine, which I imagine to be a bit like the Ghostbusters PKE detector, has basically proven that ghosts don’t exist.
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) which created a tiny black hole and discovered the Higgs boson, winning a Nobel Prize in physics, has now also disproved the existence of any ‘energy’ or ‘substance’ driving our bodies.
Speaking on Radio 4’s The Infinite Monkey Cage, Popular science communicator Brian Cox cut to the chase and clarified: “We are not here to debate the existence of ghosts because they don’t exist.”

According to everyone’s favourite TV physicist, humans are made up of nothing but atoms and particulars that cease to exist when we die.
But hey, that’s just science…what do they know, right?
