It’s time for another conspiracy theory and this time it’s the moon landing’s turn to be brought up for questioning once again.
The day mankind landed on the moon was an historic moment and momentous event that anyone who witnessed it will never forget.
Even those who weren’t born at the time know the date and the names of those who set foot on our crater-ridden, orbiting neighbour.
However, despite widespread footage and eye-witness accounts (from the three astronauts who were actually there…) conspiracy and doubt have dogged their footsteps from that day onwards.
Despite evidence, many still claim it was a complete set up, faked so that America could be crowned the ‘winners’ of the space race.
Over the years, the footage has undergone increasing scrutiny and analysis, but now a new clip has emerged, apparently claiming to have new evidence the fourth landing was fake.
The clip claims to have been taken from original, unedited footage from Nasa and states there were some ‘strange’ reflections on the recording equipment.
The video poster claims a reflection can be seen of one of the astronauts, appearing to walk around with ‘ease.’
They wrote:
On the right side of the screen, you can see the astronaut’s reflection in the glass.
His shoulder is still visible as he turns again, and shockingly he turns and walks away. He even seems to be striding away and we can see him adjusting his pants as he does.
What’s shocking about it is that there is absolutely no weightlessness.
As we watch the astronaut walk away, back turned to us, giving his pants a tug, we think of all the countries with space programmes – Russia, Europe, Japan and China – we wonder what kind of grand hoax is being played on humanity, and to what end?
Moon-landings expert and filmmaker Bart Sibrel, who directed A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon, said he ‘suspects’ the footage is ‘correct.’
He’s even spoken to Apollo 10 astronaut John Young about the fake-landing claims and believes it’s all a hoax, devised by the CIA, the Daily Star reports.
In his version of events, the 1969 journey did not take place in space at all, it apparently happened on a film set, with actors being instructed by the intelligence agency… Hmm.
He said:
As stated in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon, the Apollo astronauts were on the rocket launches to add as much realism as possible, not only to later splashdown in the ocean in front of witnesses, yet to also achieve convincing zero gravity footage inside the actual spacecraft for television audiences, they just never left Earth orbit, as they are still unable to leave Earth orbit today, 50 years later.
Thusly, anything beyond Earth orbit, even ‘half way to the moon’ as demonstrated in ‘A Funny Thing’, was falsified.
He continued to explain his theory about Apollo 10:
The Apollo 10 footage is actually very difficult to interpret, though I suspect the editorial is correct.
Additionally, in the complete unedited version of my newly discovered unedited outtakes of Apollo 11 mission’s photographic forgery, they comment ‘This is the way ‘Ten’ did it’, meaning that Apollo 10 also faked anything beyond earth orbit, just as Apollo 11 was similarly doing at the time of this statement.
I confronted Apollo 10 astronaut John Young with his lunar orbit forgery, merely asking him to swear on the Bible that he orbited the moon, which he did not.
Here’s the full version of the ‘fake’ clip:
Surely I’m not the only one who has no idea what these people are talking about here…
There’s clearly nothing to see and the whole thing is completely ludicrous.
However, obsessives have been banging on about it for nearly 50 years now and their theories don’t seem to be going away anytime soon…
