Liverpool are in the Europa League final, after blowing away Villarreal 3-0 at Anfield in the semi-final second leg.
Villarreal Captain Bruno Soriano’s early own goal levelled things on aggregate, before Daniel Sturridge scored a crucial second on the night.
Adam Lallana scored a third to wrap things up, and sent the Reds through to the final, where they will play reigning champions Sevilla.
As always, Twitter was in fine form throughout the tie, coming up with some beauties as Liverpool’s latest European conquest continued.
Here’s the best of the reaction:
Before the game, there was an amazing welcome for the Liverpool squad:

The welcome must have worked, as Liverpool scored after just six minutes to cancel out Villarreal’s aggregate advantage:

Alphonse Areola, the Villarreal goalkeeper, had a few nervy moments, and that brought out the inner child of every Twitter user:
Villarreal's goalkeeper is called Areola. He's a bit of a nipple.

Awful goalkeeping from Areola, he's made a right tit of himself there.

With Sevilla getting the better of Shakhtar in the other semi, it was close to Spanish dominance in European competitions:
So only Liverpool standing in the way of four Spanish clubs in European finals? Some record, that.

Villarreal looked dangerous through Cedric Bakambu, but a certain Croatian was in top form:
Who is this number 6 for Liverpool and what has he done with Dejan Lovren? #LFCVIL

Drug test Lovren

He wasn’t the only one having a good game, as Roberto Firmino pulled off a sensational turn:

But it was Sturridge who hit the crucial second goal:
GOALLLLLLLL! DANIEL STURRIDGE!

Doubts and complications aplenty with Daniel Sturridge. But he's showing tonight what a gifted player he is underneath all that.

And it all went tits up for the ‘Yellow Submarine’ when Victor Ruiz was shown a second yellow card:
Very soft, naive from Victor Ruiz. We'll take that #LIVvVIL

Adam Lallana added a third to put the tie beyond doubt, and send Liverpool into the final:
