Anthony Joshua Just Called Tyson Fury A ‘Fat F*ck

Anthony Joshua has seemingly called out Tyson Fury on Twitter, branding him a ‘fat f*ck’.

Following Joshua’s win over Carlos Takam, Fury has renewed his claim he would ‘beat AJ in a fight’.

AJ’s tweet, telling Fury to ‘get fit, you fat f**k’ comes as talks intensify, suggesting Fury could make a return to boxing next year, with the possibility of the two heavyweights battling it out for Joshua’s three world titles.

Fury seems to be targeting AJ as he looks to return to the ring after a break of more than two years.

29-year-old Fury also blasted Joshua’s 10th round win over Takam, who replaced his original opponent, Kubrat Pulev, with just weeks to go.

Joshua’s tweet, calling out the ‘Gypsy King’, has been liked more than 27,000 times and retweeted another 15,000 times, at the time of writing.

According to the heavyweight champ, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn is already trying to get the fight confirmed.

Joshua told Sky Sports:

It’s Anthony Joshua versus the world right now, I have got to fight them all.

Eddie [Hearn] is right, as a promoter it works well for him, it works well for me and I think it works well for people who want to watch me and Tyson Fury get it on.

I wish him the best of luck with what he’s going through because we need to see him back in the ring.

Eddie has been on the phone to Tyson, trying to make things happen and support his cause. This is a fight, down the line, that might happen.

Joshua currently holds the WBA, IBF and IBO world titles, while American Deontay Wilder, is the current WBC champion. Joseph Parker holds the WBO belt.

Prior to the tweets aimed at Fury, Joshua tweeted WBO champ, Parker, and wrote:

Wilder reportedly wants a unification bout, but ‘no firm offer has been made’, writes BBC Sport.

AJ said:

There’s one thing talking and acting, but negotiations don’t happen over social media.

I’m serious about becoming undisputed heavyweight champion and we’re making sure these guys who are making noise will back up what they’re saying.

It’s no problem if Wilder wants to fight early next year, but no offers have been made to me.

Let’s present him with an offer and see how they feel about that. If Wilder’s not making an offer, we’ll do it on my terms.

Anthony Joshua was named the second richest boxer in the world in October, after sell-out fights and numerous sponsorship deals.

On top of the earnings made from giving his opponents the what’s for, AJ also has a bunch of sponsorship deals with Lynx, Lucozade and Jaguar, which likely add to his lucrative bank account.

To save money on rent, Joshua apparently still crashes at his mum’s house.

That being said, when he wants to be AJ the boxer and not modest little Anthony, he has a huge mansion in the posh London suburbs, setting him back around £86,000 a month.

The 28-year-old Watford-native has now risen on the boxing rich list thanks to the combined £25 million he reportedly made from his victories over Wladimir Klitschko and Carlos Takam this year.
