GettyAway from all the excitement of Euro 2016, one of the biggest transfer stories of the summer has finally been put to bed, with Jamie Vardy signing a contract extension at Leicester City.
The England man has snubbed an approach from Arsenal to stay at the King Power stadium, penning a new four-year deal just four months after inking a similar improvement on his previous contract.
As you’re no doubt aware, Arsenal fans love Twitter more than life itself, so there was an outpouring of bitter Gunners on the social media site this morning, as they tried to convince everyone that they didn’t want Vardy anyway – how very Manchester United of them.
