When you’ve got to play Barcelona in less than a week – already down 2-0 on aggregate – the last thing you should do is get comprehensively outclassed by Watford.
Arsenal, sadly for their fans, are the masters of doing what they shouldn’t, and crashed out of their own FA Cup – because, yes, it does seem to be the summit of their ambitions – well, that and fourth place.
Even a late goal from Dat Guy Welbz couldn’t save them.
The internet went into meltdown as the Gunners threw away their only chance of a trophy this season, and it was glorious.
Chelsea fans were thrilled:
Dear .@Arsenal,
Thanks for always being there for me in the darkest of seasons, giving me a laugh & 6 points.
Thanks,
A Chelsea fan

You keep telling me Wenger's the best manager in League.
He's not even the best manager within 18 miles of Arsenal. https://t.co/Hksnio92sH— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) March 13, 2016

WENGER SHOULD HAVE USED HIS RESPECT AMONG THE FOOTBALLING WORLD TO BRING IN PEP, KLOPP OR SIMEONE. THAT IS THE BEST HE CAN DO FOR ARSENAL.

Escalation:
Apparently if you want Wenger out you're not a real fan. People who are happy with these results every year are true gooners
