NurPhoto/GettyBayern Munich have been busy in the transfer market today, as they confirmed the signings of Renato Sanches and Mats Hummels.
Sanches signs from Benfica, while defender Hummels is the latest player to switch from Borussia Dortmund to Munich.
With Sanches a long term target for Manchester United, Twitter went hard on mocking United fans when the Portugal international was pictured signing a contract with the multiple time Bundesliga champions.
Given Jorge Mendes is both Jose Mourinho and Sanches’ agent, it also left a few people wondering why Mendes would sell a target his client wanted – had he really been lined up for the United job – meaning Twittersphere also decided then and there United were keeping LVG for another season and Jose was off elsewhere.
